About

Olivia is a transformative leader with 15+ years of experience building global impact strategies at pre-IPO unicorn and Fortune 100 companies. Her approach generates societal impact and business value to support companies’ evolving sustainability needs, attract and retain top talent, improve investor sentiment and ratings, and amplify contributions to society and the environment.

As the founding executive of Global Impact & ESG at PagerDuty and inaugural Executive Director of the PagerDuty.org Fund, Olivia defined, launched, and scaled the company’s impact work. This included a $19M philanthropic foundation and impact investment portfolio, ESG and sustainability work, a revenue-generating sales program for nonprofits, and employee engagement.

Before joining PagerDuty, Olivia mobilized Yahoo’s technology and media platforms and extensive employee talent to rebuild Yahoo For Good, the company’s global corporate responsibility program. Prior to Yahoo, she worked with Ashoka, creating innovative social impact programs that supported social entrepreneurs and enhanced brand equity for a portfolio of companies that included American Express and Ben & Jerry’s Europe. In 2008, Olivia launched CauseCapitalism.com, an online resource to help businesses grow by embedding social purpose.

Olivia was named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council in 2021 and received the Stevie Award for Woman of the Year in Technology in the same year. She regularly keynotes industry events including Sustainable Brands, Social Innovation Summit, SXSW, Northern California Grantmakers, and Cause Marketing Summit, and has guest lectured at the Berkeley Haas School of Business. As a systems thinker and expert in cross-sector collaboration, she draws on her experience working with high-growth tech companies, the public sector, nonprofits, and in international development.

She holds a B.A. cum laude in International Relations and Diplomatic History from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Sustainability Leadership certification from Harvard’s Center for Health and the Global Environment. Over the years, she has advised multiple nonprofit organizations, including serving as board chair for GreatNonprofits and CommunityConnect Labs. She has lived in Argentina, the Marshall Islands, France, and Guadeloupe.

Chiefly, Olivia is a nature mama to three spirited boys, navigating country life as a tech industry leader with her family on the outskirts of Austin, TX.
